Kari Roberts

Dr. Kari Roberts, PT, DPT is a physical therapist who specializes in pelvic health dysfunction for women. Kari was initially interested in the pelvic health field as she was dealing with her own pelvic health dysfunction. She now is excited to help others stop suffering in silence and learn the tools they need so they can also overcome their pelvic health dysfunction. Kari owns and operates Marrón Pelvic Health, a pelvic health practice in the Cobb County area of Atlanta, GA.

Kari earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from SUNY Buffalo in 2004 and has over 19 years of experience as a practicing physical therapist. She is a Certified Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist, has completed additional pelvic health training with Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute and is in the process of becoming a Certified Pelvic Health Specialist through Evidence in Motion Institute of Health Professions.

When she isn’t working as a physical therapist she enjoys watching sports with her husband, walking in the park with her 2 dogs, listening to podcasts, sampling tasty bourbons, and catching up on reality TV.

Tamara Melton

Tamara Melton, MS, RDN is a registered and licensed dietitian who specializes in women’s health. Over her career she has worked with thousands of clients, providing nutrition counseling that is practical and effective.

Tamara transitioned her practice to focus on integrative and functional women's health after experiencing and managing many personal health issues related to infertility, fibroids, and other hormone-related conditions. Her goal with her practice is to fill a need for women who are seeking culturally-sensitive, evidence-based, and practical nutrition coaching to help them manage conditions such as PCOS, infertility, fibroids, and other hormone-related conditions. Tamara helps her clients determine the root cause of their symptoms and uses her training in functional nutrition, along with realistic lifestyle changes to improve their health.

Tamara has a Master of Science in Health and Nutrition from Georgia State University. She is also a graduate of the inaugural Functional Nutrition Practitioners Institute Training Program.

Tamara has also appeared as an expert or an author in numerous media outlets, such as CNN, the New York Times, Essence Magazine, WebMD ,and Health, to name a few.

Tamara lives in Atlanta, Georgia with her husband and two busy young daughters.

The Pregnancy Prep and Postpartum Care Workshop will be on Saturday, 2/10/24 at 2pm. This is an in-person event, so you’ll be able to meet the instructors and other women in the same stage of life- all in a comfortable environment.

How do I know whether this workshop is right for me?

If you’re curious about how to have a healthy and comfortable plan before, during, and after childbirth this event is for you! We’ll be specifically talking to expecting mothers, new mothers, and not-so-new mothers who are looking to regain their health in postpartum, but anyone who wants to support mothers is welcome to come.

Can I also bring my baby?

Yes, that’s is totally fine! There will be a quiet space available for you to tend to you and your baby’s needs during this workshop. We will also have a live stream of the workshop in the nursery so you won’t miss a moment of the workshop sessions. Please note, We thoroughly support breast-feeding mamas, and children aged 2 years and younger are permitted to attend. To ensure our attendees can get the most out of this event, children 2 years and older are not permitted to attend.

These tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
